3 THINGS CHEAP GUYS DON'T MENTION WHEN SELLING YOU WINDOWS

W.eagle legal team

People often look for answers when in need to buy something. The educated buyer will hunt for reliable information about their desired product before clinking on that "purchase now" button. Most buyers do the job, less educated buyers just go with recommendations without even reading about the company or product, the details and so forth. That is why we at W. eagle constructors like to educate our readers because installing impact windows is not only about security but about investment. We all want to leave more than a legacy and, a well invested property will do so for the new generation. Here we present you 3 things we have found contractors and sales people are not saying to customers just to secure sales, without caring for the well being of customers. Information these days is precious and we will like for you to have it before any transactions.

Tip No.1 - Make sure your General Contractor is actually your Project's General Contractor: You will be surprised how many companies or independent entities hire a certified GC just to signed documents for permits to be approved without GC being present even on the project, this is ilegal in the state of Florida. This maneuver makes installers offer you better prices but putting a great risk on your project, if an inspector detects this irregular activity could end up costing up to 3 times more just in fines. When selecting a company for Impact Windows or any remodeling job ask for the General Contractor license number to make sure your GC is actually your project's GC.

Tip No. 2 - Look for the BBB logo (Better Business Bureau): Most well stablished companies are accredited by the Better Business Bureau, a non-profit organization established nation wide since 1912 and, ranks companies that operate in good faith, you can visit their website for more information https://www.bbb.org. This is an organization founded by the same companies their oversee to make sure customers are protected providing the upper-hand to select a proper contractor and secure their investments.

TIP No. 3 - Home Remodeling is not an Expense: The same principle as buying a house, getting fit or going to college; get prepared to remodel. In this highly competitive world we live in, where social media has people flipping over because "everyone is doing it", preparation is key to obtain the best results possible. Read, ask questions, save money or get you credit score in great shape before doing an investment, any financial guru will tell you this. Buying the best products for your home is not an expense, it is an investment thus, before spending money on something you are not ready to be happy with, it will better to keep saving until you are completely ready to obtain the product you will be happy with. Cheap guys will try to sell the cheapest materials and provide less finishes to try to save you money but in the end you will not be as pleased as you initially thought.
